GDL80 series Motor Spindle is the automatic tools changing spindle
designed by our company. It adopts four-pole motor-driven system
and the ISO20 knife handle, could usually be used in the quick
processing of different materials with Φ3~Φ10 blade from 24000rpm
to 30000rpm. The multichamber protective measure including
double-layer sealing device and air sealing conformation can
efficaciously provide liquid from getting in and keep Motor Spindle
working for a long time. The GMN import bearings and engine oil are
used to ensure high performance of the spindle. Tool changing
structure is advanced so that the signal and tool changing movement
could be reliable and stable.
Applicable scope: This product is suitable for Engraving machine or
Engraving and milling machine and Lock industry. It is mainly used
for the circular carving and drilling and milling of the matrix,
spectacles and jewelry.

Notes for Use of Motor Spindle
1, Motor spindle should be compatible with frequency converter. The
specification and parameter setup of frequency converter should
match the rated parameters of spindle. If not, spindle would burn
2, Before using the water-cooled motor spindle, it must be ensured
that the cooling system is working properly and working without
cooling condition is strictly forbidden. Cooling water calculate by
1 liter per kilowatt minute. The minimum flow rate of cooling water
is not less than 5 liters per minute. The cooling water pipe and
the water nozzle connection must be reliable to prevent leakage.
3, Coolant must be clean and free of grease. Temperature should be
controlled in 5 to 30 degrees. If the ambient temperature is above
30 degrees, the cooling medium must be forced to cool. Precision
machining machine requires coolant temperature at 20 degrees
positive or negative 2 degrees.
4, In the process of saving and transporting motor spindles, the
high speed grease in the bearings could be changed. So before
using, the spindles should run in low speed for a period time at
first. Running must start from the minimum speed of the spindle and
add speed to differential growth by 3000rpm after 30 minutes. Each
level is run in 20 minutes. If just start using in high speed
without running, abnormal noise and heat would happen then the
using life will be shortened. In the long-term use of the electric
spindle, it should be working(in low speed) at least 15 to 30
minutes within one week.
5, When stored clamping tool on electric spindle, the collet , nut
and tapered bore must be cleaned to ensure accuracy. The hilt is
inserted into the collet must be greater than 15 mm.
6, The motor spindle must be preheated before processing every day.
Until reaching the processing speed and running for 15 to 20
minutes, the spindle could start fine finishing. The spindle should
stop 2 hours to prevent mechanical fatigue every day, so as to
prolong the life.
7, Knock on the spindle end cover, collet and cutterhead when
remove bit is forbidden. No bump in the process of saving,
transporting and using motor spindles especially the end cover.
8, The spindle should rotate in the specific direction.
9, Please refer to the instruction manual when store the spindle.
10, Cooling the spindle by water cooling machine should control the
temperature between 22 to 25.
11, The spindle using gas seal should dry and filter its gas source
by the water oil separator before using. The atmospheric pressure
is required to be 0.25MPa and filtering accuracy should be 5µm, or
the bearing would be damaged.
